ELECTRODE FOR BATTERY, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of improving output characteristics while suppressing reduction in capacitance per volume accompanying increase in the using amount of a conductive assistant and a binder to a minimum in a lithium ion secondary battery.

SOLUTION: This electrode for the battery is provided with a current collector and an active material layer containing an active material arranged on the surface of the current collector, and the binder of which the viscosity average molecular weight is 1.0×105to 1.0×108.
