<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a schedule management device that does not need to make a user perform complicated manual work of setting a timer based on a schedule. <P>SOLUTION: The schedule management device 10 and a household electric appliance are interconnected through a communication line. An input section 12 receives input of schedule data for managing the user's schedule. A timer time calculation section calculates a timer time set in the timer by the household electric appliance using the schedule data. A timer setting command section commands the household electric appliance for setting the timer based on the calculated timer time to set the timer through the communication line.
