<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a large motor current from flowing reversely in a regeneration period as compared with that in an energizing period due to a rapid deceleration command, and to prevent the motor current from flowing into a power supply during the next energizing period to cause a rise in power supply voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The motor drive comprises a drive signal generating section including a conduction control section, a PWM control section and an oscillating section, a drive section generating power for driving a motor based on a drive signal, a section for generating a torque command signal specifying the torque of the motor, a section for detecting the rotational speed of the motor and generating a rotational speed signal indicative of rotational speed information, and a determination section for generating a rotation difference detection signal indicative of the difference between the torque command signal and the rotational speed signal wherein the drive signal generating section is controlled based on the rotation difference detection signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
