PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vulcanization method of an annular hollow body capable of always properly and smoothly performing the positioning arrangement of an unvulcanized annular hollow body to a predetermined position of a vulcanizing mold. SOLUTION: In manufacturing a vulcanized molded body of which the outer contour shape with the cross section in its radial direction is formed into a flat form over the inside and outside in its radial direction by enclosing an annular hollow body T, to which inner pressure is applied, in the vulcanizing mold 1, prior to the positioning arrangement of the annular hollow body T to the vulcanizing mold, the mold part 5 on the inner peripheral side of the vulcanizing mold 1 is allowed to inwardly escape and displaced in the radial direction over the whole periphery of the vulcanizing mold.
