PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer capable of restoring an absorbing body becoming a saturated state to a usable state again by discharging wasted ink in the absorbing body. SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device has an inkjet head, the inkjet head discharges an ink to a recording medium while moving, the absorbing body of the wasted liquid is arranged in the lower portion of the range where the head moves. The wasted liquid absorbed in the absorbing member for the wasted liquid is discharged to the outside of the absorbing member by moving the inkjet head while pressing the inkjet head or a member connected to the inkjet head to the absorbing member.
