APPARATUS ON SPINNING MACHINE, ESPECIALLY SPINNING PREPARATION MACHINE, FOR THROWING/PLACING FIBER SLIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To considerably improve manufacturing of a fiber sliver package. SOLUTION: In an apparatus for throwing/placing the fiber sliver in the spinning machine, the apparatus is provided, which has a delivery device for delivering the fiber sliver; and an approximately flat receiving/supporting surface for receiving the fiber sliver and collecting it in the form of can-less fiber sliver package. The receiving/supporting surface is approximately unenclosed, the receiving/supporting surface and the delivery device are displaceable relative to each other at the throwing/placing area where the fiber sliver can be thrown/placed and the receiving/supporting surface is horizontally reciprocable. The apparatus has a device in which the delivery device is positioned during delivering of the fiber sliver and the receiving/supporting surface can be vertically descended during delivering of the fiber sliver. In order to considerably improve the manufacturing of the fiber sliver package, the delivery device and the receiving/supporting surface are brought into contact with the fiber sliver and the fiber sliver package can be stable positioned during reciprocation movement and descending movement.
