PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric lock which can surely be unlocked even when unreasonable force is applied in the unlocking direction to a lock member 44 of a locking state. SOLUTION: A main driving member 75 directly driven by a self-holding type solenoid 72 and a driven member 76 interlocking with the main driving member 75, are movably arranged between a locking position and an unlocking position. When the driven member 76 is positioned in the locking position, the lock member 44 is held at a locking angle, and the rotational movement of the lock member 44 is allowed when positioned in the unlocking position. When the main driving member 75 moves to the locking position, the driven member 6 is push-moved to the locking position by the main driving member 75. The main driving member 75 can be moved to the unlocking position by the solenoid 72 even in a state of applying the unreasonable force in the unlocking direction to the lock member 44 of the locking state. When releasing the unreasonable force in the unlocking direction to the lock member 44, the driven member 76 is moved to the unlocking position by energization of a spring 84 between the driven member and the main driving member 75 moved to the unlocking position, and the rotational movement of the lock member 44 to an unlocking angle is allowed.
