PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple installation method for covering asbestos slates 11 used for roofs and walls with external facing materials without allowing asbestos to spatter to the outside during the installation. SOLUTION: Noncohesive spattering prevention sheets 20 are spread over the asbestos slates 11 exposed during the overlapped roofing, and an adhesive tape 21 is applied to the mating parts 22, 23 of the sheets, verges 14, and the cut edges of the eaves 15. Since closed spaces partitioned by the spattering prevention sheets 20 are formed above the asbestos slates 11, chips P generated from the asbestos slates 11 when newly installed metal roof plates 12 are secured to the asbestos slates 11 and sheathing roof boards 10 is entrapped in the closed spaces and not dispersed to the outside.
