PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and easily exchange a bit during working and further improve working efficiency and workability. SOLUTION: In an electric screwdriver 1 equipped with at least an attachment/detachment mechanism part 2 attaching/detaching the bit B, and an electric drive part 3 rotating the attachment/detachment part 2 by an electric operation, the attachment/detachment mechanism part 2 is equipped with a chuck mechanism part 5 holding the bit B when the bit B is inserted, a hold release mechanism part 6 releasing the holding of the bit B with the chuck mechanism 5 by being displaced, and a push-out mechanism part 7 pushing out the bit B to the forward Ff when releasing the holding of the bit B.
