A bicycle parking installation is provided to lock a bicycle in a parking stand by using a fastening member mounted to the parking stand and a ring member mounted to the bicycle. A bicycle parking stand(100) is composed of a pillar(120) and a roof(110) and has a solar collector(140) on the roof and parking stands(130) under the roof. Bicycles(200) are parked in the parking stands respectively. A ring member(300) is installed in each of the bicycles. A fastening member(400) is installed in each of the parking stands and fastens the bicycle by a locker or releases fastening of the bicycle. A storage battery(150) is connected to the solar collector to store collected solar energy. A controller(160) is operated by power supplied from the storage battery and controls operation of the locker of the fastening member. A card terminal(170) is electrically connected to the controller and allows a user to use the bicycle by releasing the fastening of the bicycle when the user puts on a membership card thereon. An auxiliary battery(190) is electrically connected to the controller to prepare for failure of the storage battery. |
