Divided back-rest frame in form of a metal structure in 40 percent/60 percent-division transverse to the driving direction, with fixing points to motor vehicle body has two base components in form of a rear wall, consisting of two-piece backrest sheet or outer panel elements. Divided back-rest frame has pressing profile (30) consisting of two single-piece contour shaping parts having longitudinal bars (35), whereby the contour shaping parts correspond to the contour of the respective backrest sheet. Base components has two interior bars (33 or 31, 32) and welding stud for belt integration, serves, tubular retainer for headrests and a belt deflection, as support for a right and left-sided backrest locking mechanism (10,11). The rear wall possesses a revolving unbending channel for an upholstery covering and serves as connecting element for attaching parts e.g. welding nut (19) for a child seat-holding-belt. An indicator support part is provided with stop angle. The backrest support (7,9,25,26) anchored between both base components form the swivel axis of the backrest and represent the cutting site and anchorage with the vehicle body.
