<p>The invention concerns a device enabling a pedal (3) with mechanical attachment (3) to be integrated on the end piece of a connecting rod (2). The other end of the connecting rod (2) comprises the ball bearing (1) and fixture for rotating the device on the crank (4) of the bicycle. For an easy fit of the shoe, a large forward connecting rod (2) pedal (3) tilting effect resulting from the center of gravity must be corrected with a flexible shank (5) fixed on the pedal (3) contacting the heel of the shoe and urged to rise to the front attachment (3) of the pedal (3). The connecting rod (2) enables the pedal attachment (3) to be positioned horizontally at the high point of the crank (4) at about 40 mm forward and 23 mm lower while remaining in an advanced position throughout the forward phase of the cycle.</p>
