摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support apparatus capable of approaching a vehicle fully to a vehicle to be pulled, when the vehicle to be pulled is connected with the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: An image extraction part 71 extracts a semi-sphere structure 33 of a boat trailer 30 among the images S1. The image extraction part 71 searches for a position coordinate of the semi-sphere structure 33 within the images S1 and inputs the coordinate data S12 on the position coordinate into an operation part 73. The operation part 73 asks for the proceeding direction of the vehicle in order to connect the boat trailer 30 by comparing the coordinate data S13 and the coordinate data S12. The operation part 73 calculates a distance between a present vehicle position and the semi-sphere structure 33 based on a steering angle signal S4 input from the steering angle sensor 7, each position coordinate of the semi-sphere structure 33 within a plurality of the images S1 acquired on the plurality of the times, and the vehicle moving distance obtained from the vehicle speed signals S3 input from the vehicle speed sensor 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
