PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating pedal structure capable of precluding the generation of noise when a braking pedal of an operating member pivoted on a supporting yoke for a caster is operated in the braking direction and thereby performing a smooth operation. SOLUTION: The invention includes an operating member pivoted on the supporting yoke for the caster and having at least the braking pedal, in which a protruding part is formed on the reverse surface of the braking pedal, and the operating member is energized in the braking direction when the pedal is depressed in the braking direction as approaching the tread surface of a wheel, and it is arranged so that the projection on the braking pedal abuts to the wheel tread surface made of resilient material when brake is applied to the wheel.
