PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for continuous casting, which prevents an induced current from flowing on an interface between a plate for fixing a copper sheet and a cooling box, and restrains local heating at the interface to prevent the damage of a sealing material, so that an electromagnetic stirrer is free from failure. SOLUTION: The invented mold for continuous casting is equipped with the cooling box 1, a cooling wall composed of the copper sheet 11 and the plate 10 for fixing the copper sheet, a water feeding header 5 which feeds cooling water to the cooling wall, and a draining header 4 which drains the cooling water after fed to the cooling wall. The electromagnetic stirrer is housed in the cooling box 1. The cooling wall is set up on the molten steel side of the cooling box 1. The water feeding header 5 and the draining header 4 are placed under the cooling box 1.
