摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersion nozzle where, in continuous casting using an immersion nozzle having two discharge holes and a slit, discontinuity is not generated between downward flows and discharge flows in a mold, and, even in the case a sliding nozzle is used, slippage in the directions of molten metal flows from the discharge holes does not occur. SOLUTION: The immersion nozzle for continuous casting has a bottomed cylindrical shape. Two discharge holes 2 are cylindrically arranged at the lower parts of the side walls in the cylindrical shape at the axially symmetrical positions to the cylinder. A slit 3 opening to the outside is provided so as to be connected to the cylindrical bottom part 4 and the bottom parts 6 of both the discharge holes. The part coming into contact with the slit 3 in the cylindrical bottom part 4 is tilted to the upper part toward the cylindrical side walls 5, the parts coming into contact with the slit 3 in the bottom parts 6 of the discharge holes are tilted to the upper part toward the side walls 7 of the discharge holes, and there is substantially no level difference between the face formed by the cylindrical bottom part 4 and the face formed by the bottom parts 6 of the discharge holes.
