PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical capsule device operating the observation function, by being detained in an organism, without forcing inconvenience and pain to a patient. SOLUTION: This medical capsule device has various function means, and can be used in liquid existing in the organism, and has a capsule incorporated with the function means and rotatably usable in the liquid existing in the organism, and an attitude changing means for changing an attitude of the capsule by rotating the capsule. The attitude changing means always controls the observation direction of the capsule in the predetermined direction to the gravity direction by the center of gravity of the capsule set in a position deviated from the center of the capsule.
