PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which makes it possible to play more comfortably without spoiling a desire to play by making it possible to listen to favorite music by player's selection and linking the object of selection with a game state. SOLUTION: The game machine 1 is provided with a liquid crystal display part 5a, and a dock connector 922 electrically connecting speakers 9L and 9R for outputting sound relating to a game and a portable music player 930. Under a main control circuit 71, a sub control circuit 72 reads a play list 900 from the portable music player 930 connected to the dock connector 922, displays it at the liquid crystal display part 5a under a fixed condition, commands a musical piece selected corresponding to an operation by a player to the portable music player 930 and outputs the output of the portable music player 930 from the speakers 9L and 9R.
