<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool an inner section of a printer by ventilating air more efficiently than heretofore by carrying out a dust-proofing operation by using a filter. <P>SOLUTION: As an air channel (a space) is formed between an air suction hole 2 and the filter 23, the air flowing from the air suction hole 2 circulates around the whole air channel (the whole space), and then advances toward the filter 23. When the air passes through the filter 23, the air resistance is generated. However, as the area of the filter 23 against the air is larger, the amount of the air passing therethrough becomes greater. As a result, it is possible to increase the flowrate of the air flowing into the thermal head printer 1 through the filter 23 as compared to heretofore, thereby efficiently cooling the inner section thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
