<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit recording with satisfactory characteristics for an optical information recording medium unknown to an optical information recording device including an optical information recording medium with increased recording capacity, by determining a method for selecting an appropriate recording method in the combination of the optical information recording medium and the optical information recording device. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided: information C capable of deriving a recording condition on the optical information recording medium; and a self start type program for making the optical information recording device B execute the processing of reading the information C to compare it with information D capable of deriving a recording condition included in the optical information recording device B memorizing the recording conditions for various kinds of optical recording media when performing the loading to the optical information recording device B, to use the recording condition derived from the information D in the recording operation when the content included in the information D covers the content included in the information C, and to use the recording condition derived from the information C in the recording operation when the content included in the information D does not cover the content included in the information C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
