摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of easily adjusting white balance of white light. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting system is provided with a light emitting device having a first light emitting means, a second light emitting means and a blue light wavelength conversion means. The first light emitting means is a blue LED 24a and emits first blue light having a predetermined wavelength at a peak. The second light emitting means is a blue LED 24b and emits second blue light having a wavelength at a peak different from the predetermined wavelength. The blue light wavelength conversion means is a YAG (yttrium-aluminum-garnet)-based phosphor 23 and converts a part of the first and second blue light rays to yellow light. The lighting system is adjusted to predetermined chromaticity by adjusting both brightness values of the first and second blue light rays. Thereby, the value of the Y-axis of an xy chromaticity diagram of white light emitted by the lighting system can be changed only by using the light emitting means emitting blue light, and white light adjusted to predetermined white light chromaticity can be emitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
