摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration of a gas analyzer capable of accurately performing the calibration of the gas analyzer for many kinds of gases being detection targets using a gas easy to acquire. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for calibrating the gas analyzer 10, which is equipped with a detection means 1 for detecting the concentration of a detection gas in a gas G to be measured and an analyzing means 2 for analyzing the concentration data of the detection gas, using a calibration gas, a gas sensor element 11 is constituted of a solid electrolyte and has a diffusion resistance part 110, first and second space parts 111 and 112 and first-third pump electrodes 113-118. This gas sensor element 11 is used with an oxygen gas serving as a calibration gas P to utilize the correction of the concentration dependences of the oxygen gas of current characteristics in third pump electrodes 117 and 118 and the definite proportional relation present between the concentration dependences of the detection gas, thereby correcting the concentration dependences of the detection gas in the analyzing means 2 to calibrate the analyzing means 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
