<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle radar device capable of certainly detecting dirt adhering to the surface of a vehicle side radome regardless of positional relation between the vehicle side radome and a radar. <P>SOLUTION: This on-vehicle radar device storing the electric wave type radar 200 including a transmission means and a reception means inside the vehicle side radome 100 installed to a vehicle, and transmitting/receiving an electric wave from the radar through the vehicle side radome to measure a distance to an object and a relative velocity has: a guidance means such as a reflection plate 300 disposed between the vehicle side radome 100 and the radar 200, guiding a reflected wave from adhering matter of the surface of the vehicle side radome to the reception means of the radar; and an adhering matter decision means deciding presence/absence of the adhering matter of the surface of the vehicle side radome on the basis of a signal level of the reflected wave received by the guidance means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
