PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator eliminating a ripple by generating a current capable of obtaining a smooth thrust force or torque without inserting a large output filter in a PWM amplifier, and without providing an additional winding in the actuator. SOLUTION: In a wound coil 4 which is used for the electromagnetic actuator, a capacitor 6 is connected in parallel to at least one portion of the coil from a halfway of the coil 4.
