PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic transfer master recording medium which can remove sub-pulses when making magnetic transfer and is applicable to high density recording, and provide a magnetic transfer method using this magnetic transfer master and a magnetic recording medium recorded with magnetic information by using this magnetic transfer method. SOLUTION: A magnetic recording medium disk has magnetic layer patterns and non-magnetic layer patterns alternately formed on the surface for recording magnetic information. The minimum length in the circumference direction of the non-magnetic layer is represented by b, and the length of circumference direction of the magnetic layer patterns is made larger than b.
