PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric door lock which is equipped with a structure of a lock case silenced by reducing noises associated with the locking/unlocking operation of the electric door lock. SOLUTION: The lock case is split into two parts, that is, a drive-unit case 1 and a dead-bolt mechanism case 2; the case 1 is manufactured from a vibration-proof and soundproof material by arranging and hermetically sealing a gear train and a motor as a main noise source; and the case 2 is formed as a firm case in which the dead-bolt driving mechanism is arranged and which is effective for crime prevention. The two cases are connected together by a vibration-proof and soundproof connecting member 4; one output drive rod 5 is arranged between the cases; and the locking/unlocking operation is performed by moving the rod 5 upward and downward.
