PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise insulating structure of an automobile capable of reducing the noise to be transmitted from an engine room into a cabin. SOLUTION: In an automobile provided with a cowl grille 15 having a cowl grille upper portion 20 extending from a top side of a front edge of a windshield 19 to a lower portion of a rear edge of a hood, and a cowl grille front portion 21 extending from a front edge of the cowl grille upper portion 20 to a lower portion thereof, there are provided a cowl grille extension part 32 extending above a tire house 6 on the cowl grille 15, a sound absorbing material 31 for the cowl grille extending in the vehicle width direction along the cowl grille front portion 21, and a sound absorbing material 33 for the tire house along the cowl grille extension part 32.
