HOUSING STRUCTURE IN VEHICLE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide more convenient and comfortable housing structure in a vehicle body capable of securing a sufficient housing space in an automobile provided with a housing box near a getting on/off opening (a door opening part). SOLUTION: The housing structure in the vehicle body structure is provided with side sills 9 extended in the fore-and-aft direction of a car body under both of right and left sides of the vehicle body to structure framework of the vehicle body, side frames 11 positioned inside the side sills 9 in the car cross direction and extended in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle body on both the right and left sides of a lower surface of the floor 12 of the vehicle body to structure framework of the vehicle body, and the housing box 3 arranged under the right and the left door opening parts 17 of the vehicle body in order to house articles. The side sill 9 has a reinforcing material 13 inserted through in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle body, and the housing box 3 has a housing box opening part 3a to be opened outside the side frame 11 in the vehicle cross direction under the side sill 9 and a cover member 14 for covering the opening part 3a freely to open/close it.
