The present invention relates to a dental handpiece comprising means for polymerization of a polymerizable resin base of a composite material, and means for generating an ultrasonic signal for martensitically transforming a filler ingredient of the composite material from a metastable first phase to a stable second phase. The present invention further relates to a method for polymerization of a resin base of a composite material and performing a martensitic transformation of a filler ingredient of the composite material. |
