<p>The electrical machine has a housing (2) in which a stator and a rotor are arranged, a flange (7) for covering the housing, a circuit board (5), an elastic element (6) immediately adjacent to the circuit board and a plug carrier (8). The circuit board is loosely pre-mounted in a pre-assembly group and the circuit board and the elastic element are fixed between the plug carrier and the flange with a clamp connector when the electrical machine is assembled. An independent claim is also included for a method of mounting an inventive electrical machine.</p>
