KNIFE FOR PEELING VEGETABLES AND FRUITS (TWO VARIANTS)

The inventive knife for peeling vegetables and fruits consists of a handle and a curved working plate, which is connected thereto and is provided with sharp end and a through slot, which is embodied along the middle line of the plate profile and divides it into two opposite guiding and cutting areas, wherein the cutting area is provided with a blade which is embodied in the form of a slot edge located below the level of the other edge at a distance corresponding to a cutting depth. The plate curved profile is embodied in the form of a reaping hook in a plane view. The shape of the slot in the plane view is formed by two unidirectional arc-shaped edges converging at the plate ends. In a first variant, the shape of the working plate in a cross-section view formed by the guiding and cutting areas is embodied in the form of an arc. In the second variant, the guiding and cutting areas of the working plate are placed in the cross-section view at an obtuse angle with respect to each other, wherein in the two variants, the external part of the plate profile on the side of the cutting area thereof is provided with burrs.
