<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for power cables that can shorten a time required for manufacturing a cable joint, to reduce an execution cost, and to obtain desired ground-fault current performance. <P>SOLUTION: A first shielding layer 7 and a second shielding layer 8 are pressure-welded to cable external semiconductive layers 2C, 3C, respectively, through cable shielding layers 2D, 3D. The first shielding layer is pressure-welded by a cable conductor-side roll spring 9A placed in a first space 20 formed by folding back the cable shielding layers 2D, 3D of two plastic insulated power cables 2, 3. The second shielding layer 8 is pressure-welded by cable sheath-side roll springs 9B, 9C placed in a second space 21 formed by folding back the cable sheath 2E, 3E-side terminals of the second shielding layer 8 and on a lateral surface 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
