PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly steer and control a vehicle installed with runflat tires by a steering control device of the vehicle even when the vehicle runflat-travels. SOLUTION: This steering control device of the vehicle is furnished with a characteristic estimation means to estimate tire characteristics when the runflat tire is punctured in accordance with the tire characteristics when the runflat tire installed on the vehicle is at normal pneumatic pressure. Additionally, it is furnished with a steering characteristic adjusting means to adjust the steering characteristics in steering the runflat tire on the vehicle in accordance with the estimated tire characteristics in the case when the runflat tire is punctured.
