PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an embossed sheet of high quality having regular fine embossed patterns formed to its surface and free from a flaw at a high line speed with good productivity. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the embossed sheet for transferring and forming the surface unevenness of an embossing roller 13 to a sheet W, a strip like flexible sheet, which has a resin liquid layer formed to its surface by coating the surface of the sheet W with a resin liquid diluted by an organic solvent, to be continuously wound around the rotary embossing roller 13 and the surface unevenness of the embossing roller 13 is transferred to the resin liquid layer held to a state the organic solvent remains to cure the resin liquid layer in a state that the sheet is wound around the embossing roller 13.
