PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dissimilar metal bonding method capable of performing the sound bonding free from any defects such as blowholes and suppressing generation of intermetallic compounds even when a plating layer of a metal of low melting point on a bonding interface or foreign matters such as oil and rust preventives are interposed in the dissimilar material lap bonding in which a surface of a material of high melting point is irradiated with the defocused high-energy beams, only the material of low melting point in an attached condition is melted by the heat transfer from the material of high melting point, and the materials are bonded by using the material diffusion. SOLUTION: A material of high melting point and a material of low melting point in which the melting point is different from each other overlap each other. The surface on the side of the material of high melting point is irradiated with the defocused high energy beams in a spot. Bonded parts of both materials are locally pressed against each other from the irradiation surface of the high energy beams and the opposite surface to perform the lap-bonding of the materials. In the elapse of the predetermined time after starting the irradiation of the high energy beams, the local pressurization of the bonded parts is started. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
