PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect accurately the upper limit and the lower limit of a temperature range permitted at the operation of electric equipment. SOLUTION: The temperature detection device comprises a thermistor element 150 of which the resolution is set high in the vicinity of the upper limit of the temperature range permitted at the time of the charge and discharge of a battery module assembly 104 and which detects the temperature of the battery module assembly 104 and a thermistor element 152 which is installed at a part different from the thermistor 150 and of which the resolution is set high in the vicinity of the lower limit of the temperature range permitted and which detects the temperature of the battery module assembly 104.
