PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of easily creating updating information in which does not cause much trouble even when power supply is shut off, and in which the inside thereof is difficult to be analyzed. SOLUTION: An information processing device for updating map information of a navigation device that displays a map and guides a route to a destination comprises a conversion means (CPU 11) that converts the map information to the image data corresponding to the storage form when the map information is stored in a magnetic storage means of the navigation device, and a storage means (DVD driving device 18) that stores the updating information as the image data acquired by the conversion means in a storage medium (DVD 20).
