PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metering and conveying apparatus capable of conveying an object to be metered horizontally while keeping such the condition that no vertical external force is transmitted to a load sensor at least on a metering section in a process of conveying the object to be metered. SOLUTION: The metering and conveying apparatus is a conveying apparatus having a metering device 10 at its conveying path, and the metering device 10 is disposed independently between a feed-in conveyor 2 and a feed-out conveyor 3. The metering device 10 is made up such that a slider 14 which generates a horizontal drive force, is disposed on the load sensor 11, and the object to be metered M is mounted on a metering base 18 disposed on the slider 14 in order to meter the weight of the object to be metered M in its moving state.
