PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which is a noncontact type stencil printing method and which can easily cope with a change of a pattern to be printed and can use a particulate consisting of an arbitrary material as a printing agent. SOLUTION: A plate 13 provided with a plurality of holes is disposed apart from a printing object 1 and the printing agent is supplied onto the printing object 1 through the holes of the plate 13. In the printing method comprising the above, the granulate 7 is used as the printing agent, while an original plate 3 and a modified plate 5 having respectively a plurality of holes 3a and 5a provided in prescribed patterns different from each other are superposed and used as the plate 13, and the granulate 7 is made to drop onto the printing object 1 through the holes 3a and 5a of the plate 13 communicating with each other.
