<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable and water-resistant inkjet recording medium on which a clear image can be recorded when ink for inkjet printing is applied thereon. <P>SOLUTION: A water-resistant coating composition for an inkjet recordable substrate with a pH less than 7 contains an aqueous polyurethane dispersing element (a), and a nitrogen-containing polymer dye-fixing compound solution (b). When the coating composition is applied onto a proper substrate, the clear image, which is not changed by the action of water, can be recorded. The coated ink-recordable substrate includes a substrate with at least one surface, and the at least one surface of the substrate has a coated layer which is derived from the coating composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
