<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register a plurality of information processors on a network so as to be overlapped in a plurality of groups when grouping them and to make an information processor selected as a processing object execute an instructed setting/operation without being affected by group overlapping even when there are group overlapping information processors. <P>SOLUTION: A message distribution processing part 303 acquires all "logical group names" from received message information in a step F2, checks whether or not at least one logical group name to which a present host belongs is present, and decides that it is a message addressed to itself when it is a multicast address corresponding to the present host and at least one logical group name pertinent to itself is included in the logical group names (step F3).
