METHOD OF REMOVING PRECOAT COATING FILM FROM PRECOATED ALUMINUM ALLOY PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of removing a precoat coating film from a precoated aluminum alloy plate by which the precoat coating film is removed from the aluminum alloy plate without giving thermal influence to the aluminum alloy plate by irradiating with infrared laser.

SOLUTION: In the method of removing the precoat coating film 22 from the precoated aluminum alloy plate 2 formed by arranging the precoat coating film 22 at least on one surface of the aluminum alloy plate 21, the precoat coating film 22 is made from a synthetic resin having number average molecular weight of 5,000-40,000 and has 0.5-200μm film thickness. The precoat coating film 22 in a required area is removed from the precoated aluminum alloy plate without melting the aluminum alloy plate 21 by irradiating the required area of the precoat coating film formed surface 23 with infrared laser having 0.8-12μm wave length at≥10 MJ/m2energy density.
