METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DECOMPOSITION OF NUCLEIC ACID POLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for decomposition of nucleic acid polymer by controlling the time and the space for decomposition of nucleic acid polymer at its specific position.

SOLUTION: A probe nucleic acid polymer linked to a fine particle is allowed to form a specific complementary strand pair at its specific position (hybridization), then the fine particle is kept at a high energy state thereby breaking the site of the target nucleic acid polymer near the fine particle as the time and the space are controlled.
