PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel preventing a transparent electrode film constituting display electrodes X, Y from deterioration with the heightened reliability of display. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel is formed by arranging a plurality of paired X-electrodes and Y-electrodes for display composed of a transparent conductive film and a metal film, adjoining each other and extending in a lateral direction on one substrate out of a pair of substrates forming a discharging space. The paired X-electrode and the Y-electrode are covered with a dielectric layer for AC drive, and a driving sequence generating the deviation of an impressed voltage between the X-electrode and Y-electrode adjoining each other is applied to the display panel.
