PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction apparatus having a biometric authentication function with a means for reducing transaction operation time. SOLUTION: A transaction screen is divided into a first area and a second area. The first area is for transaction operation guidance and for inputs and the second area is for guidance on biometric authentication so that the transaction operation displayed in the first area and the biometric authentication displayed in the second area can be operated in parallel.
