PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw capable of improving operability and durability. SOLUTION: The ball screw 1 is provided with a screw shaft 2 having a screw shaft side rolling groove 8, a nut 4 having a nut side rolling groove 10 facing the screw shaft side rolling groove 8, and a circulation member 6 attached to the nut 4. A plurality of balls 14 is loaded in a load rolling passage 12 formed between the screw shaft side rolling groove 8 and the nut side rolling groove 10. The circulation member 6 is formed of a tank part 22 scooping up the balls 14 from inside the load rolling passage 12 or returning the balls 14 back into the load rolling passage 14, and a ball return passage 24 passing the balls 14 scooped up from inside the load rolling passage 12 or returned back into the load rolling passage 12 by the tank part 22. A minimum gap C<SB>1</SB>of gaps provided between the screw shaft side rolling groove 8 and a rear face 22a of the tank part 22 is set such that it is within a range of 1-15% of a diameter of the ball 14.
