PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an end face of an elastic resin cage from contacting with a bearing washer, even when shear droop is generated in opening side parts of pockets from which a mold is pulled out and the opening diameter is expanded. SOLUTION: The middle recess center P on the longitudinal section of the pocket 4 of the cage 3 is shifted from the center O of the longitudinal section to the opening side part 5b side, and the mold used for forming is pulled out from the opening side part 5a in the side opposite to the opening side part 5b side. Due to this, even when shear droop 6 is generated in the opening side part 5a of the pocket 4 from which the mold is pulled out, leading to expansion of the opening diameter and a ball 2 held in the pocket 4 is moved to the side of the opening side part 5a having the expanded opening diameter, projecting quantity of the ball 2 from the opening side part 5b side to which the middle recess center P is shifted can be sufficiently secured so as to prevent the end face of the cage 3 from contacting with the bearing washer.
