PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous composition which is excellent in smelling and in the sustainability of a smell, can prevent the discoloration of a together used water-soluble pigment under an acidic condition, and is especially suitable for applying to liquid cleanser compositions. SOLUTION: This smelled and colored acidic aqueous composition comprises (a) a primary amino group-having pigment compound, (b) one or more aldehyde-based perfume components selected from lyral, lilial, ligstral, and benzaldehyde in an amount of 20 to 250 ppm, and water, wherein the content of aldehyde-based perfume components except the (b) component in the composition is≤25 ppm.
