PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize and simplify an apparatus. SOLUTION: A window 20 of a lower cover 6c is provided with a plate feeding unit 25 which can be oscillated between an insertion position to make a new plate 10 held and inserted into a gripping-side plate vise device 8 for a plate cylinder 5, and a standby position to cover the window 20. An upper end of the lower cover 6c is provided with a positioning pin 21 for positioning the new plate 10. In the standby position, the unit 25 holds the new plate 10 which is positioned by the positioning pin 21.
