PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top-release type buckle, simplifying the structure of a male member and a female member, having beautiful appearance, and reducing the manufacturing cost of the buckle. SOLUTION: This buckle includes: the male member having the body part and a first connecting means; and the female member receiving the first connecting means and having the body part and a second connecting means connected to the body part to revolve and engaged with the first connecting means, which is releasably engaged with the male member. The thus constructed buckle is simple in structure, so that the manufacturing cost of the buckle is reduced and the male member can be easily released from the female member by lightly pressing the second connecting means of the female member.
